Important Licensing Notice From Swiftpage For Owners Of Unsupported Versions Of Act!

If you are on a version of Act! v17 or older, we have some good news and some bad news.  The good news is, you’ve gotten a lot of good years out of your version of Act!. A few past it’s end of support date even.  The bad news is, due to major changes to the third-party licensing service Act! employs, all unsupported versions of Act! will cease to work.  This applies to any version of Act! prior to v18.  Upgrading is required to continue using your Act! database.

We understand this involves an investment of both time and budget.  There are discounts in place to help make the transition more affordable.  Our goal is to offer as much notice as possible to help you plan and maintain access to your vital systems.  As of January 1, 2019, certain common actions may interact with the current licensing component and cause Act! to fail.  Once that happens, you will no longer be able to access your database. Examples of these common actions include attempting to install Act! on new hardware, modifying existing hardware and modifying your user count. For an expanded list of actions, click here. You you must upgrade your Act! by December 31, 2019 to avoid disruption. Swiftpage assumes no responsibility for issues encountered with Act! if the required upgrade action is not taken.

To upgrade your Act! or discuss options, please email mscott@3leafcrm.com.  Timing is essential if you rely on your Act! database.

I've been in the CRM business since 1999. Prior to that, I was in marketing - focused on brand marketing. Whether you use one of the "big name" CRM products or a shoebox, I firmly believe that CRM is a process more than a software.
